Kirstin — Certified Life & Career Coach
The Coach

Kirstin

Kirstin was born and raised in South Africa before making the bold decision to move to Spain in 2007 alone, without speaking the language, and without employment. What began as a leap into the unknown became the foundation for everything she now teaches: resilience, adaptability, and the power of mindset.

Over the past 15+ years, Kirstin has built a successful independent career, creating her own opportunities while establishing a life in a completely new country. Now fluent in Spanish, she understands first-hand what it takes to navigate uncertainty, integrate into a new environment, and succeed without a safety net.

Kirstin is a certified Life & Career Coach (PCC accredited) with over a decade of experience, having coached hundreds of clients across some of the world’s leading organisations — including Tony Robbins. She is known for her ability to quickly identify what holds people back and translate that into clear, practical strategy that drives results.

Her work focuses on building clarity, confidence, and direction — enabling individuals to take decisive action and position themselves effectively in competitive, high-performance environments.

Having personally built a life from scratch in a foreign country, Kirstin brings grounded insight, sharp perspective, and a deep understanding of the mental resilience required to succeed when the path is uncertain.

Andi — Seasoned yacht industry insider
The Insider

Andi

Andi was born in Ireland but moved to South Africa at a young age. After a successful career in the hospitality Industry, Andi excelled at a world-renowned Chef School before starting her yachting career over 14 years ago. Andi’s career took her to unbelievable heights. After years of hard work, she became the first-ever female Chef on the largest fleet in the world.

She has worked on some of the largest vessels ever built and even became the first female Chef to hold the role of Second Chef in a Galley of 14 men. She has worked in incredibly demanding environments designed to enable men to succeed. Over the course of her Yachting career, she built an incredible reputation, an invaluable network, and a great level of respect from her peers.

In the last 4 years of her yachting career, Andi took on the role of interior manager on a Yacht owned by one of the most UHNW families in the world. During this time, Andi was responsible for interviewing/hiring and training countless crew both in the galley, the interior, and even on deck.

During that process, it became evident to Andi the simple mistakes that are made by so many crew during the interview process and on their CVs, and their struggle to adapt to yacht life. It was during these last four years that Andi really found her passion for helping struggling greenies gain the confidence and professionalism they need in this industry to succeed.

This passion, partnered with meeting hundreds of crew over the years who have been unsuccessful in their yachting careers, is what spurred Andi on to create “DocksideKickstart”. Andi started her career in Antibes and now lives in Palma, so she is well-versed in both cities and can help and advise crew in both places.

"We know exactly what captains and crew agencies are looking for — because we've been on the hiring side."
